tomorrow I will be renting out a smelt shack and packing it with whiskey, beer, firewood and some bait to go get my ice fishing game in full effect. Looks like your boy CalzoneGolem will be there, and I invite anyone with a Saturday to burn to come up and partake in this Maine tradition with me. Comment if you are interested. You make the effort to come up, and I will take care of the rental, bait, and the beer unless you dont drink shit beer like I do when fishing. Possible overnight accommodations in Portland as well if needed.

I'm not commenting if interested, I'm commenting if jelly. It's right at a 15 hour drive, and I just know the Benz would choose such a time to have the slightly noisy front wheel bearing explode, or burn the glow control relay, or make much worse the fuel leak.

I need to stop driving cars with 400k miles, really.

I'll tell YOU what, I was talking to CannoliGremlin yesterday about this. I need to go up to my girls dads properties and catalog/photo a ton of cars and parts for his will. I bet you would be a perfect fit for that mission, and you would have all of the lobsters, pork, eggs and beer you can handle. I could likely take care of your fuel to get up here too. I allegedly have facebook. Allegedly. By that I mean I log in about once every 6-9 months if I'm lucky. My email is derp with underscores to confuse robots and no "mailto". Definitely ought to hang out with both you and CrabcakeGoblin at some point.

16 hours and over 1,000 miles worth of driving. Not bad I guess. I don't drink cheap beer but I would bring my own liquor anyway. Also, I'm not much of a fisherman. More of a social drinker.
